Me and Matt were in the same kindergarten class, went to elementary school, middle school and graduated high school together and now after knowing each other almost our entire lives- I got to take his engagements! I am so excited for him and Brooke (he definitely picked a keeper), and I can't wait to see what a wonderful life they build together :).
There is nothing sweeter than getting to photograph your first baby niece in the hospital when she is only one day old. I love this little girl more that I can put to words! Congratulations Jenae and Nick! :) She is absolutely perfect!
I got lucky enough to come home in time to do some cute maternity shots with these two! This gorgeous sister of mine is three days overdue in these photographs and looks just as beautiful as she did when she was 5 months pregnant! :) So glad I got the chance to photograph them during such an exciting time in their lives!
This Portland wedding was my first "destination" wedding and it was so much FUN! I absolutely loved getting to photograph this beautiful couple's wedding and I loved getting to know their families and making new friends!
Harriet is an artisan for Musana, a non profit organization that employs women in Uganda so that they can provide for their children. I got to meet her when she flew to the US (for the first time) for Musana's 2nd annual gala. She is by far one of my favorite people that I have photographed. She is such an inspiring woman with such strength and resilience. Despite the hardships that life has given her, she shows such gratitude, positivity and humility and has overcome so much. She chooses to love God and this life he has given her. I have never met anyone more humble, strong, faithful, or grateful; and I loved being able to capture that in my photos. I only got to spend a short time with her but I am excited I get to see her again, and meet so many others in Uganda this July!
